Discover our wonderful region

Berlingen is on the widest part of the Untersee and renders lots of charm.A village in an area with so much to discover. The historical intact center has a prominent church and a museum from the well known painter, Adolf Dietrich inviting you to linger for a while. There are excellent restaurants where you can spoil yourself and even might spot wind or kite surfers passing by on the lake. Walks from the village out to beautiful view points are highly recommended. There you will be devestated by the most beautiful impressions of the lake and it’s shores.

If you wish to explore further just take a boat, train, bicycle or your feet and discover the numerous possibilities for excursions in the area.

Maybe Konstanz with it’s beautful Old Town and many shops, the Napoleon museum in Arenenberg castle, the ‘vegetable’ Isle of Reichenau with it’s 1000 year old churches, the historical and picturesque small city Stein am Rhein, the Hermann Hesse museum in Gaienhofen... all this combined with a relaxing boat ride. And for those who love even more water – there are plenty of places to swim in the lake.
